A Spatial Library of Stories

Created in collaboration with KATA Design Studio and Suaru, Biblioteca was conceived as a way to reframe an exhibition not as a display, but as a narrative space. We wanted visitors to experience objects as stories-something to be read, moved through, and remembered-rather than simply observed.

The spatial concept takes inspiration from the familiarity of library aisles. Products are arranged like books on shelves, forming a linear yet immersive journey. Each collection becomes a chapter: seating inspired by branching trees, dining elements shaped by structural pillars, and storage systems derived from the raw honesty of scaffolding. Through this sequencing, we highlight the emotional and conceptual depth behind everyday forms.

The booth is designed as a modular framework of wood and lightweight steel. Instead of merging materials into a single expression, we allow contrast to remain visible-metal expressing structure and clarity, while wood brings warmth and tactility. Together, they form a balanced dialogue of opposites.

Existing trees are preserved within the layout, becoming part of the exhibition itself. This integration allows the pavilion to feel alive, adaptive, and rooted in its context. Biblioteca is a way of designing through storytelling-where space, objects, and nature coexist as one evolving narrative.
