Shibumi Villa was envisioned as more than a place to stay-it is a reflection of its owner's passion for art, culture, and nature. Inspired by vernacular Balinese architecture and broader Asian influences, the villa celebrates craftsmanship, sustainability, and the beauty of natural materials through the use of reclaimed teak wood and timeless tropical design.

From the very beginning, an ancient Cempaka tree became the heart of the project. Long before any walls were drawn, its presence guided the design. Rather than building around it, we allowed the architecture to embrace it, creating a peaceful inner courtyard where daily life unfolds beneath its canopy. The tree remains the spiritual anchor of the villa, connecting the spaces and people around it.

At the center of this courtyard sits a dedicated tattoo studio belonging to the owner, a tattoo artist known for her exploration of Indonesian tribal art. Positioned at the heart of the layout, the studio reflects the soul of the project-a place where heritage, creativity, and personal expression come together, making Shibumi Villa a living story of culture, nature, and artistry.
